FIRE ANOINTING

1. Fire Anointing

a) Seek for FIRE Anointing

i) In Matthew 3:11, Jesus will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

"[11] I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire."

ii) We often miss this gift of fire. It is our privilege to receive this special gift. It is just like having the trump card that will secure you for the final victory / success. 

iii) God the Father is involved in this besides Jesus is the baptizer of the Holy Spirit. The baptism of Holy Spirit and fire is your second experience. 

iv) Most of the time we have the baptism of Holy Spirit but seldom indulge in baptism of fire.

v) When you are saved you have the Spirit of Christ or baptized with the Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9).

"[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

vi) The fruit of the Holy Spirit is so evident in your new life (Galatians 5:22-23). This is your first experience of Salvation. The Holy Spirit is the baptizer of Christ-likeness in you.

vii) We have been baptized with the Holy Spirit. We speak in tongues. Now we really need to be baptized with fire. This is the final gift God has given to us. There is no other gift after this! 

b) The Characteristics of Fire

i) Besides the many characteristics of fire, the outcome is enormous (huge).

@1. Fire is Fast. There is little time!

@2. Fire is  Hot.  Heat is more threatening than flames.

@3. Fire is Dark. Fire isn't bright, it's pitch black. 

@4. Fire is Deadly. Smoke and toxic gases kill more people than flames do.

c) Fire mentioned in the Bible

i) Indulge sexual sin

"[24] Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven."

ii) Offer strange fire (foreign things)

"[1] And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not. [2] And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. [3] Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace."

iii) Burning bush not destroyed

"[2] And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed."

iv) Pillar of a cloud / fire (Guidance)

"[21] And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night."

v) Angels helping

"[23] And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. [24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. [25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

vi) Consuming fire

"[29] For our God is a consuming fire."

d) What can you expect? 

i) You can expect it to revive, renew and restore your challenges. God would never destroy his creation but instead give life and hope for your future.

ii) Circumstances that seemingly are dead would spring up alive again due to this fire. You can expect signs, wonders and miracles in your life. 

iii) Allowing the fire to engulf you fully is the key to making the impossible become  possible. Don't you see it (Isaiah 43:19).

"[19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

e) How to pray for baptism of fire?

i) The is just a simple answer: The same way you have received the baptism of Holy Spirit.  

ii) Most of the time it comes together. We are not aware of the fire. Perhaps we need to be re-fired. 

iii) Ask in faith. God our Father will give it to you. Tongues evidence of Holy Spirit. Boldness, miracles etc signifies fire.
