1. Reaching Out To Your Destiny

a) Featured Scripture Text

Ephesians 1:4 

Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. 

@1. This is a comforting verse as it tells you that you are not here without a reason or purpose. You have been chosen before God formed the galaxies, the world or Adam!

@2. Your destiny in God includes being holy and blameless before Him. We are being chosen by God is conditional on our choice to believe and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Without Jesus Christ in our lives, there is absolutely no way we can fulfil our God-given destiny.

@3. God is God and He works all things, including your life, according to his purposes. 

Psalm 57:2 

I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

@4. This is the key to understand God's purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.

@5. God knows the destiny of those that choose to walk within His guidelines and those that choose not to walk in His guidelines. 

@6. God knows the destiny of those that obey him that they will be saved from destruction. He also knows the destiny of those that do not obey him which is destruction.

@7. The Bible made it clear that the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable meaning that it can not be changed. 

@8. Is your destiny already written by God? It's not so much that we are predestined in life, but that God already knows what we will do in any given circumstance. God gives us His Word the Bible to tell us what to do, but whether we follow His plan is up to us. God uses circumstances and people for His purposes.

@9. Destiny involves what is going to happen, what has to happen, or what is meant to be. If a certain future is said to be someone's destiny, it can only mean that it's destined (foreordained or predetermined) to happen, or that it should happen.

@10. To reach out to your destiny is not a matter of chance. But it is a matter of CHOICE.

@11. You need to know what you really, really, REALLY want. Then you can take action. Then you can get going and keep on going no matter how you feel. 

Isaiah 14:27 

For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?

@12. God has a purpose for your life, God is saying, “Who can stop my plan, who is more powerful than Me, who can make a mistake so big that I can’t forgive it, have a problem so large that I can’t solve it, a dream so great that I can’t bring it to pass?” God’s plan cannot be stopped by a bad break; all the forces of darkness can’t keep you from your destiny.  

@13. Sometimes we think because we have made mistakes and we’re not where we want to be in life, we must have stopped God’s plan; you’re not that powerful!

@14. You may have made mistakes, but it wasn’t a surprise to God. He already has the mercy, shake off the guilt and move forward. Nothing that you’ve done or haven’t done has cancelled your destiny.

@15. You are not powerful enough to stop God’s plan. God has the final say. Nothing can snatch you out of God’s hand; no accident or crazy person can stop God’s plan. God is in complete control of your life.

@16. God is working behind the scenes, arranging things in your favor; He’s making a way where you don’t see a way; you don’t have to live worried, stressed out, trying to force everything to happen, all you’ve got to do is keep God first place; honor Him with your life, and you will come into these destiny moments where you see God supernaturally protecting you, where you’re at the right place, meet the right person, that wasn’t coincidence, that was the favor of God moving you towards your divine destiny. 

@17. It’s not a lucky break, it’s Almighty God saying, “I’ve got a destiny for you to fulfill, My plan will come to pass.” You may not see how this can happen, but God will have 1000 ways to do it that you never thought of. 

@18. God is directing your steps down to the smallest details.  He can make things happen that you could never make happen on your own.  He is for you, on your side, and what He has purposed for your life will come to pass.

@19. Even when you don’t have the courage to do what you know you’re supposed to do, God won’t leave you there, God will push you into your divine destiny, God knows how to get you to where you’re supposed to be. God is so good, loving, forgiving, even if He has to drag us He’ll still get us to our destiny.

@20. We don’t have to live down on ourselves because we don’t think we have enough faith, don’t have to go around stressed out because it’s not happening on our timetable.  we can stay in peace knowing that our God is in complete control. He knew when we wouldn’t have the faith, when we’d need a push. He’s already got your destiny moments lined up, where you’ll see His hand of favor. A problem you’ve had for years suddenly turns around, an opportunity of a lifetime is suddenly in front of you; those are destiny moments that God already has in your future.

@21. God works in mysterious ways; He knows how to get people to like you; why don’t you trust Him, believe that in your future are these destiny moments.  

@22. You may not be able to make it happen, but God knows how to make it happen. Sometimes we get all worked up trying to make things happen, we’re discouraged because somebody won’t be our friend, we’re working overtime trying to convince them to like us; if somebody doesn’t like you, don’t take it personally, they’re not a part of your destiny. if you’ll keep moving you will come into the people God has ordained for you. 

@23. God has divine connections in your future, people that will celebrate you, want to be your friend, even go out of their way to be good to you.

@24. God has it all lined up, big ways, small ways, God’s in compete control. God is strategically orchestrating your steps. 

@25. You’re not here by accident, you’ve been chosen by the Creator of the universe. He has a specific plan for your life, something for you to accomplish; you haven’t made too many mistakes, you haven’t missed too many opportunities, if you will keep moving forward, you will come into your destiny moments where you see God’s hand of favor, that’s Him bringing about His purpose in your life.  

@26. If you’re going to live in victory, all through the day say; “I’m a person of destiny, His favor surrounds me like a shield, no weapon formed against me will prosper, what God started in my life, He will finish, I will become everything He’s created me to be.”

@27. How you’re raised doesn’t have to stop your destiny, before anyone could put a curse on you, God put a blessing on you; the blessing always overrides the curse; it doesn’t matter what people have said about you, it matters what God said about you.  

@28. You came through your parents, and from Almighty God, just because you were raised in a negative environment, you don’t have to stay there, that is not who you are; shake off every negative comment people have spoken over you and reprogram your thinking. When God puts the blessing on you, it doesn’t matter what people say or how they treat you, all that matters is that Almighty God has blessed you, and nothing else is of any effect.  

@29. When God created you, He breathed his blessing into you; you are wearing God’s crown of favor.

@30. When someone mistreats you, it’s easy to let that cloud your future; have a new perspective; what God has blessed, no person can curse, people are powerless to stop the blessing on your life.

@31. The enemy doesn’t fight you for where you are, he fights you for where you’re going.  

@32. You may be facing difficulty, it’s because God has something amazing in your future, there are new levels of your destiny, you have not touched the surface of what God has in store.  

@33. You’re going to see Ephesians 3:20, exceedingly abundantly above and beyond. You and God are a majority. If God be for you who dare be against you? What God has purposed for your life will come to pass.

@34. God’s plan for your life is down to the very second, God is not a vague God, He’s a detailed God, a precise God, an exact God, He has already taken into account every attack that will come against you.

@35. If it’s not your time to go, all the forces of darkness cannot stop you. God is bigger than any enemy, injustice or sickness.   

Isaiah 59:19

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

@36. God knows how to protect you. Just as God can make blind eyes see, God can make seeing eyes blind, God can shield you from the enemy; quit worrying about your future, quit trying to figure it all out. God has you in the palm of his hand. There is a hedge of protection around you that the enemy cannot cross. What is meant for your harm God said He would  use to your advantage. When you don’t see a way God can make a way, when it looks like it’s over God has the final say.

@37. He knew we’d all face situations that looked impossible; God is saying, "I will not fail you or let you go under; my purpose for your life will come to pass; I will give you another chance, I love you too much to let you miss your destiny."

@38. Stir your faith up, shake off every disappointment, every negative comment, the self-pity and put on a new attitude. 

@39. If you will have this attitude of faith, honor God with your life, you are going to come into your destiny moments, that favor is going to thrust you to new levels, you will see God’s purpose come to pass in your life, overcome every obstacle, defeat every enemy, and become everything God’s created you to be.
